Django 1.0 is almost here

It's early August, and the release of Django 1.0 (final release) is approaching, due September. It's been an exciting passage for Django, and the Enzyme IT Django team has been keeping a close eye on the Django wiki and road map. The Alpha release of Django 1.0 saw quite a few improvements, including more flexible syntax for admin registration, support for custom cache backends, and “else” option for the “ifchanged” tag, and — the biggie — support for intermediary models in many-to-many relations. The Django 1.0 Beta release is due any day - the development team here at Enzyme will surely download it and give it a whirl!

On another note, Enzyme will be organising and sponsoring a Django meetup in the Asia/Pacific region (location coming soon...) - we'll post further details here once more complete arrangements have been made at our end. We're looking forward to bringing together the regions talented and enthusiastic Django developers to discuss an array of topics.
